Plantar Fasciitis: Causes and Solutions

Today, we are focusing on plantar fasciitis (foot pain) and pronation.

Pronation affects about 80% of the population, and about 1 in 10 people will develop plantar fasciitis in their lifetime.

The result is that the muscles and tendons that hold the arch up (running from the heel to the toes) became strained as they lengthen. The strain causes micro-tearing, inflammation, and pain. Spasm in the soft tissues results as a means to fight the dropping of the arch. This just means MORE pain!

Until recently, many people would use ice packs, see a physical therapist or massage therapist, have a steroid injection, etc. Most of the time, these solutions aren't very effective.

Dr. Chris created MuscleCare to absorb, break or relax the spasm, allowing fresh nutrient-laden circulation to push into the connective tissue or plantar fascia. This means that the painful inflammation and spasm all reduce, so you can get back to living an uninterrupted, pain-free life.

His recommendations should you suffer from plantar fasciitis:

1. Adjust the arch by chiropractic

2. Reduce the adhesions by hand using a physical therapist, registered massage therapist, or chiropractic doctor

3. Wear supportive shoes ALL the time

4. Avoid leather soles (Buy dense, rubber soles)

5. No bare feet or flip flops

6. Shock waves therapy using MuscleCare ointment.

7. Use MuscleCare ointment morning, noon, and night for two weeks

8. I really do like orthotics but not on their own. They have to be used as part of the process.

9. Stretch. Hold 60-90 seconds. (CLICK HERE FOR A FREE DOWNLOAD OF A STRETCH ROUTINE THAT WILL HELP)
